First snowfall of the year.

(And hopefully not the last!)
I was wary until the last moment, remembering how often in the past the weather forecast said it would snow, built up expectation and then we’d get a light dusting that melted upon touching the ground. This time the forecast was wrong again, but in a good way. The snowfall lasted longer than expected, and gifted us with a nice layer of fluffy snow. I managed to reach my location before the bus service was temporarily stopped.
It snowed non-stop on my walk and switching lenses proved too complicated. I would have liked to capture some details with the macro lenses, but I did not have a way to do it safely (and dryly!). Nature photographers who often shoot in such conditions probably have specific gear to keep their equipment dry, but as we get ridiculously little snow, I have not looked into that yet.
