Forgotten by me, that is. I used to visit the Villa Revoltella park regularly as a child, to skate and play on the carousel. The last time I visited was many years ago, when my older nephew had just started walking… that was quite a long time ago. Then today I was on the bus that drives past the park and on a whim I got off and went in.
So many memories. The carps and the turtles are still there, to my delight. Because of the chilly temperatures for this time of the year, the park was virtually empty except for some gardeners. The blackbirds were relaxed and unintimidated.
I will definitely have to visit again when the weather gets warmer.
